Hi Azure technical team.
We're looking into the possibility of using Azures hosting services for our existing database of music files. After speaking to a representative from the Sales Team we've agreed upon going for the S0 SQL Database with 10 DTU and 250 GB storage.
We would like to "just" change the hosting of our existing database from MediaTemple to Azure, but before we can do that we need to find out if its possible to install any given program to the server or not. Our database is programmed in "Ruby
on Rails" (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and is secured through username and passwords.
Can any of you from the technical team help with clarifying this for us? Your sales team do not have the answers..
